some truth from Abbotsford about Todd
Submitted by guest on Mon, 05/18/2009 - 21:50.here’s some truth from behind the scenes in Abbotsford. Jessa first of all was an intern in the fall 08 cycle. She never applied for it Todd invited her into the internship. Even after a board member severly opposed it. Later Todd invited her and another intern to live in his house during the internship, and after the internship as a live in nanny.
At the same time the Bellingham, Washington church was being established so fresh fire could get a legal foot hold in America. This is evident by the lack and the sheer refusal to work with the local churches. It was just for the papers not the church.
In January 2009 2 members of the board confronted Todd about Jessa, and that it was wrong and they couldn’t stand by him about it. They where “relieved” of their position for doing so. This shouldn’t be surprising as another member of FFM was faceed with the same threat, after he caught Todd with another woman in England (this is what the dark night of the soul was actually about), the FFM member was forced to either work for FFM outside of North America or be fired. Jessa is woman number 4 that Todd has cheated on Shonnah with.
Todd isn’t 100% to blame just 80% the rest of the blame falls on those board members and pastors that refused to confront Todd on his infidelities. One in particular had the mind set that if Todd does it, it’s okay even if it isn’t for others. Others refused to confront because they didn’t want to loose their jobs (like many have over the years)
Even in Lakeland which I personally think was a two edged work of God, it was a blessing to the locals who have prayed for God to move. And the other edge was a judgement on Todd, in total over the top Todd style. During the highet of revival there was excessive drinking, slasher flicks, and other things I wont get into now with Todd and his inner circle (yes men). There was infighting with the leaders on stage, and the interns where just slaves with ministry badges. Or the fact that all the money collected for the orphans and for sudan never made it to them, it was instead used to pay for the buildings/land for the revival.
Even after Lakeland fell apart, and the news finally became public, Todd never returned home to Abbotsford. He remained in America (illegally) in California, then a breif stop in Reno for their quickey divorce rules. Then it was off to Rick Joyner and his marriage with Jessa
These words are not made up, this is a summary of many conversations I have had with former FFM employees, board members and former interns. I just can’t stand by and see Todd get away with this for a fourth time. A man who has turned his back on his wife and children once again. yet will be received by the masses as THE man of God.
Fallen Leaders! Leader?

I believe this is something that has been from the roof tops on for a long time. Enough is enough! In my estimation they are unlearned, ignorant, unstable.
2Pe 3:16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.
Its a sham, Bam Bam
Submitted by guest on Thu, 04/16/2009 - 15:20.The question we need to ask is whether Todd Bently was teaching the Truth in his ministry before his dramatic fall?
The fact is that his visions of Angels and the so called third heaven that he supposedly visited was either a figment of his immagination or more likely, a satanic manifestation of fallen angels, who supposedly told him to mark his body with tattoo's.
This suggestion alone goes against the teachings of God's word in Leviticus and should set alarm bells ringing of every Christian. Sadly this was never mentioned blindly accepted without critism.
I also gather that Bently has allegedly been caught out as a alcoholic and adulterer, but questions have also now been raised about financial affairs and irregularities.
Bently's seems to have a lot of affairs and we need to question whether his ministry is, has been or ever can be believed to have been "Christian" in the first place.
It was and is a sham, so we need to ask why Bently can not go back to his ministry, as long as he does not call it Christian!

Submitted by guest on Tue, 04/07/2009 - 20:48.If Mr Bentley is a genuine christian then surely he should take a low profile role in his local church rather than seek leadership . Unfortunately people seem to hide behind the 'do not judge shield' which seems to allow you to do anything you want without criticism . Does Todd's ex-wife feel he is suitable for leadership ? Does he have to come back quick for financial reasons ?
The church better wake up , we have liberals on one hand undermining the authority of the Bible and on the other we have wolves in sheep's clothing fleecing the flock . Back to the Bible , back to basics and holiness through the Holy Spirit .
fake
Submitted by guest on Thu, 04/09/2009 - 17:31.This man should be totally shunned. This is what the scriptures instruct. When was this charlatan ever a leader? Anyone who thinks that Bentley and his disgraceful antics are 'Christian' is totally lacking in discernment AND plain common sense. The USA, sadly, seems to be particularly susceptible to the machinations of such individuals. I would have more faith in Basil Brush.
beware, a little leaven, leavens the whole lump
Submitted by guest on Thu, 04/16/2009 - 14:14.What is so shocking is that so many Christians were beguiled by the antics of Bently in the UK, its not just a US problem. I had heard that God TV virtually promoted this stuff 24/7, supposedly saying it was an authentic move of God? Is this true?
Have we the church learned anything from the past? Can there be any hope for the future Church if we are so easily accepting and gullable of the likes of Bently, Hinn, Howard-Brown, Meyer, Hagen and Copeland to name just a few, without first testing the spirits behind them, looking to Gods Word for authenticity and look at the fruit's of their ministries, not their bank balances or size of following!
Oh dear, Oh dear, what a sorry state the so called Christian church is in!
Bentley et al
Submitted by guest on Tue, 10/20/2009 - 21:46.Whilst we need wisdom to discern spirits, is it not extremely easy for all of us to judge? Did Jesus not say something like, "let him who is without sin cast the first stone"?
And to lump Todd Bentley, who clearly fell from grace, along with Joyce Meyer, and the Copelands is, I suggest outrageous! Many of us have been and continue to be mightily blessed by the biblical teaching from these good folk! As for the others you mention, I am insufficiently informed to pass comment let alone judgement.
Good folk?
Submitted by guest on Thu, 10/22/2009 - 20:27.In many ways Todd Bentley is of less concern to me than the Meyers Copelands and Hinns of this world. He blew it publicly on a moral issue and that put a stop for the time being, to the charade that he and so many other suppossed christian teachers/pastors were passing off as a revival. The others you mention are still up there on the platform, on tv, online and in your bank account, decieving you and many others with their particularly subtle and not so subtle mixture of truth with error. As I keep harping on, go back and look at the old testament and learn, the new is in the old concealed the old is in the new revealed. God hates mixture. Think about "you are neither hot or cold, so I will spew you out" Greek - Akatharsis meaning impurity. Read Galatians 5. Before we are told what the fuit of the spirit is, we are told what it is not ie the works of the flesh. No. 2 in the list (after sexual immorality) Akatharsis - Impurity, mixture. The Israelites couldn't make a garment of wool and flax, they couldn't sow a field with two different crops.
These decievers will teach what ever people want to hear and line their own pockets while doing it. But of course they need that private jet to serve the lord. Give me a break these people should never have got to where they are today if the Shepherds of the flock had being doing their job right and properly teaching and expounding the word of God ( see How Long!! post). But the church is so biblically ignorant that they can't tell a false prophet and a deciever from 6 yards.
So heres a challenge for you. Go study the bible and find out why "let him who is without sin cast the first stone" is totally out of context to the situation of Bentleys fall from gr....... well wherever he was, and then come back and tell us all what you learned.
"Do Not Judge"
Submitted by guest on Fri, 10/23/2009 - 16:14.To those who would tell this site about not judging or for those of you who feel you cannot judge this mans (TB) teachings, go here and kisten to both The Believer's Call to Judge, Part 1 and The Believer's Call to Judge, Part 2 for an excellent teaching on these verses.

Mr Bentley
Submitted by guest on Thu, 04/09/2009 - 14:17.like me, he will get a chance to explain it all to Jesus in that end of life one-to-one....
The same chapter where Jesus
Submitted by guest on Wed, 11/18/2009 - 23:53.The same chapter where Jesus said 'Don't judge' he also told us to beware of false prophets. The teaching on not judging is greatly misunderstood - it shouldn't be used to protect false teachers who lead people to hell.

Submitted by guest on Mon, 09/21/2009 - 13:02.Bentley being "raised" again should not come as a great suprise to anyone who has more than 6 brain cells, let alone have the gift of discerning of spirits!
Don't go anywhere near this bloke, OR the "so called" profits.. ooops!sorry, prophets, who endorsed his ministry.
If you or I did what he has done, what action would our church leaders have taken with us???
